I was born and raised in Morristown, Tennessee, and attended the University of Mississippi before moving to Michigan for medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. I have a passion for surgery, teaching, and giving back to my community. Outside of the hospital, I love traveling and backpacking, especially exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. I have backpacked throughout South America and traveled throughout Europe and Morocco. I also enjoy staying active, playing pickleball, and creating art.
