I am the first in my family born in the US to Polish immigrants and grew up in Florida speaking Polish and English. I have since called Missouri and Colorado home before making my way to Michigan! Throughout college and medical school, I volunteered with free clinics and community outreach, which shaped my approach to patient care. I also have a passion for teaching and enjoy bringing an upbeat, encouraging energy to those around me. Outside the hospital, I am an avid backpacker and aspiring mountaineer who has trekked through Iceland and Joshua Tree National Park and climbed 14ers in Colorado. I have played guitar in rock bands and enjoy themed potlucks with friends, where my homemade chocolate rugelach is a staple!
