Courtney was raised in Redding, CT before attending Johns Hopkins University for her BS in Neuroscience. She served as a research assistant at New York's Mount Sinai Hospital prior to moving to Chicago, IL to attend medical school at Rush University Medical College, where she developed her passion for surgery. Professionally, Courtney is interested in MIS, Bariatrics, and Medical Education. Outside of the hospital, Courtney can often be found riding horses, trying the latest restaurant, or traveling to new destinations.
